FAQs

What precautions are you taking in regards to COVID-19?

I am fully vaccinated but happy to take any precautions that make you comfortable such as masks & frequent sanitzation.

How do I prepare for a session?

Take some time to think about the answers to these questions before your session: What is the main use of the space now? What is working for you in/what do you like about that space? What is NOT working for you/do you NOT like about that space? What is your main goal for the space?

Things you should try to have on hand when sorting your shit are: blue painters tape, post it notes, Sharpies, and trash bags.

How do I know what can be recycled?

Great question! I fucking LOVE recycling! I also love CHaRM! CHaRM is the Center for Hard to Recycle Materials. They take everything except for construction scraps (i.e. pieces of wood, concrete, shit like that). I literally mean everything. For a full breakdown of what they take and how they work, visit their site here!

Do I need to be there while you work?

Yes, please! De-cluttering a space can be very personal and re-organizing can be very preference based so it’s essential that you are with me and accessible. Your opinion and input are so important to my process. I will ask a lot of questions and do my best to get to know you and your relationship with the space we are sorting so please be present for the entire session! Taking lengthy phone calls can be very distracting during our time together. I love to make sorting your shit a collaborative experience so that we can achieve your ultimate goal for the space.

What do I do with all of the clothes I no longer want?

Consignment is a great option to get rid of old clothes in a sustainable way. My favorite places are Buffalo Exchange, Rag-O-Rama, and Plato’s Closet. If you still have clothes to get rid of, please consider donating them!

I am happy to take your old clothes off your hands. In an effort to live sustainably, I do my best to make sure your clothes receive a second life and don’t end up harming our planet by being thrown away. Your old clothes will be given to friends, sold at a local consignment shop, or donated. My favorite places in Atlanta to donate clothes are Second Life and Lost N Found.

Do you have experience working with neurodivergent adults?

Yes, I do! I am also a neurodivergent adult with ADHD (amongst other things) and here to help you navigate organizing your home with compassion and mindfulness. I have a lot of experience working with things like object permanence, body-doubling, and executive disfunction and more & want to help you build your space around your strengths and what works for your specific needs.

Where are you based out of? Will you travel to me?

I’m located in Vinings Estates and service the Smyrna, Sandy Springs, and West Atlanta areas! Anyone located more than 30 minutes away will be charged a fee.

Are you LGBTQIA+ friendly?

FUCK YEAH! I am part of the community & strive to be inclusive. We’re all human. We’re all messy. It’s cool.

Are you okay with animals?

Gods yes. I have a cat named Noodle and come from a family of crazy animal people.  (Ask me how many and what kind of pets we had my senior year of high school!)
